Bahlmann exclusively slaughters and dissects in the modern equipped EG-meat centre in Lindern (DE-NI 10107). The entire slaughtering process for calves and bulls takes place under survey of the national surveillance department. This gives the guarantee that only meat of healthy animals will be commercialized.

Product quality for every piece of meat

Production quality, a high hygiene status as well as the handling of individual customer cutting – with bones or without or as a vacuum-packed piece – are the main demands towards the modern Bahlmann-dissection plant. Directly after the cooling process, the veal and beef is taken from the slaughter plant and no further transports are necessary. The IT enables a continual securing of origins throughout all production levels as well as a labeling of goods
according to customer requirements. In this way Bahlmann guarantees a complete securing of origins and product quality for every piece of meat.

Self-service production – individual amounts

Due to self-service-meat an extra new distribution channel in the great variety of products could be realized in the classical food retail trade and wholesale trade. Everything is portioned, packed under protective atmosphere and labeled according to customer demands, starting with fresh meat, up to spiced and marinated products as well as convenience products.
